[fanfic] Sound Test
Jul. 27th, 2009 03:53 pmTitle: Sound Test
Author/Artist:
historyblitz, kept track of at
historize
Character(s) or Pairing(s): Russia, America and a mention of England
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Language
Summary: I picked this as a prompt over at the Russia/America prompt fill. Since my other writing is on my dead desktop, I am going back to my prompts and doing them. This one in particular was about Reagan, who was giving a sound test and said, "My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes." They were not on the air but it was leaked to the public and the international reaction was less than warm. Given Reagan's personality, it was a joke--but it put everyone on alert. The prompt was to look into Russia's and America's reactions to it.
I think I might have strayed a little off-course but it was interesting to do.
( Are you just sore because I beat you to the moon? )
